Challenge

The college had a cybersecurity elective on paper but no working lab — the previous attempt at a VMware-based cyber range had failed within two semesters because of imaging, licensing, and maintenance overhead. Students were learning from slides, not hands-on attacks.

Solution

DeepTech replaced the on-prem range with browser-based, multi-machine Kali labs. Faculty assigned per-student isolated networks, graded exploitation milestones, and viewed live attack telemetry. An intra-college CTF was hosted on the same platform at the end of the semester with 280 participants and zero infra work for the IT team.
