NAAC Accreditation & LMS

Also known as: NAAC, NAAC SSR, NAAC accreditation LMS India

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) grades Indian universities and colleges across seven criteria. An LMS aligned to NAAC can export per-criterion evidence — course delivery metrics, faculty workload, student outcomes, and e-resource access — directly in SSR (Self-Study Report) format.

NAAC accreditation (grades A++, A+, A, B++, B+, B, C, D) depends on documentary evidence gathered in a Self-Study Report (SSR). Criterion 2 (Teaching-Learning and Evaluation) and Criterion 3 (Research, Innovations and Extension) together account for 40 of the 1000 possible weighted marks, and both require LMS data — student enrolment, course completion, e-resource usage, and assessment outcomes.

  • 2.3 — Student enrolment and programme completion by academic year.
  • 2.4 — Faculty-student ratio and teaching-load data.
  • 2.6 — Student performance and learning outcome attainment.
  • 4.1 — ICT usage in teaching (e-resource access, LMS logins).
