Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) integration for DeepTech LMS
Run NEP 2020 credit-accumulation programmes — credit-tag your courses, track outcomes, and push completions to learners’ Academic Bank of Credits accounts.
DeepTech is ABC-compatible: courses can be credit-tagged following UGC’s ABC schema, learner completions are tracked against the credit framework, and the LMS produces the structured reports an ABC-registered institution needs to push records into a learner’s Academic Bank of Credits account.

What's supported
Capabilities are described as they exist in DeepTech today. We'll confirm anything we don't list here on a discovery call.
Every course and module can carry a credit value following UGC’s credit framework. Reports surface credits earned per learner per programme, plus split by L-T-P (Lecture–Tutorial–Practical) where applicable.
Courses can be tagged as major / minor / multidisciplinary / skill enhancement / value-added / ability-enhancement — the categories NEP 2020 expects — so reports map cleanly to the NEP credit-bank policy.
Per-learner credit reports are available as Excel and CSV exports formatted for the institutional ABC submission. Admins can also produce per-programme rollups for academic-council review.
Each learner transcript shows credit-bearing courses, internal-and-external splits, and the issuing programme — the structure that receiving institutions need when accepting transferred credits.
Frequently asked questions
Is DeepTech a registered ABC institution?
No — ABC registration is an institutional credential held by the university or autonomous college, not the LMS. DeepTech is the technical platform that produces the credit-bank-compatible records your institution submits.
Can we automate the ABC push from DeepTech?
Where the ABC programme publishes a stable issuer API and the institution is onboarded as an issuer, the records can be pushed programmatically. Where the workflow is bulk-Excel upload (the current default for many institutions), the LMS produces a ready-to-upload export.
Does ABC integration require Aadhaar?
ABC accounts are Aadhaar-anchored at the learner side. Inside DeepTech, the learner profile is institutional — we do not store Aadhaar. The credit record is keyed by the institution’s identifier plus the learner’s ABC ID where provided.
What about partial completions and credit transfer in?
Partial completions are tracked at module level and earn fractional credit only where the institutional policy allows. Credit transfer in is supported as an admin workflow — prior credits are recorded on the learner transcript with the issuing institution.

Need a different integration?
DeepTech exposes a documented REST API plus webhooks, so most institutional systems can be wired in. Send our engineering team your stack and we'll scope it.
