Browser-based cybersecurity labs for students and colleges

Real attack tools. Real target networks. Zero software install — everything runs in the browser so students on college Wi-Fi can practise from day one.

What's included

Everything you need to deliver this on day one — not after a six-month implementation.

Full Kali Linux in the browser

A complete Kali Linux desktop — Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, Hydra, John the Ripper, and 600+ other tools — rendered via browser terminal or VNC. No VM download required.

Pre-built isolated networks

Each lab session spins an isolated network: attacker VM, one or more vulnerable targets, and an optional SIEM. Networks are internet-isolated and reset between users.

Guided scenarios with auto-validation

Step-by-step lab guides with auto-check milestones — the platform validates when a student captures a flag, gains a shell, or patches a misconfiguration.

Faculty dashboards and CTF leaderboards

Faculty see per-student progress across all lab steps. For CTF events, global and class leaderboards update in real time.

Who it's for

B.Tech / M.Tech / BCA CSE & Cyber Security students

Students enrolled in cybersecurity electives or dedicated Cyber Security programmes who need practical lab hours to complement theory.

Engineering college faculty & AICTE coordinators

Faculty running AICTE-model cybersecurity curricula who need a lab platform that works on college-grade infrastructure.

Self-learners preparing for CEH, OSCP, CompTIA Security+

Individuals building hands-on skills for industry certifications — without access to a home lab rack.

How it works

  1. 1
Instructor sets up the lab scenario

Pick from the library of 100+ pre-built lab scenarios or author a custom one with target configuration and validation flags.

  2. 2
Students launch labs from the browser

Students click 'Start Lab' — the isolated environment spins up in under 60 seconds. No downloads, no local configuration, no shared credentials.

  3. 3
    Students complete tasks; platform validates

Each task in the lab has a validation mechanism — flag capture, shell access, config change — the platform confirms completion automatically.

  4. 4
    Faculty reviews progress; issues certificates

The faculty dashboard shows every student's step completion. Certificates are issued at the end of the course or module.

Frequently asked questions

Do students need to install anything?

No. The entire lab environment — Kali Linux, target VMs, network stack — runs server-side. The student only needs a modern browser (Chrome / Firefox / Edge). A 10 Mbps connection is sufficient for comfortable use.

Are the labs safe? Can a student's attack escape to the internet?

Yes, fully safe. Each lab session runs in an isolated AWS VPC with outbound internet blocked. Attack traffic stays entirely within the session network. Sessions are destroyed after completion.

What tools are available in the browser lab?

Kali Linux (full installation), Metasploit Framework, Burp Suite Community, Nmap, Wireshark, Hydra, John the Ripper, Hashcat, SQLMap, Aircrack-ng, OWASP ZAP, Volatility, and 600+ other Kali tools. Specific tool availability depends on the lab scenario.

Can the labs be mapped to our cybersecurity syllabus (AICTE, university curriculum)?

Yes. Labs are tagged by topic (network scanning, web exploitation, cryptography, forensics, malware analysis) and can be mapped to specific course units or AICTE model curriculum objectives.

Is there a CTF (Capture the Flag) mode for college events?

Yes — CTF mode creates a competitive environment with time-boxed challenges, per-challenge scoring, and a live class leaderboard. Faculty can run internal CTFs alongside course labs.
